Limited to just 6 participants, this fun afternoon / evening workshop is all about capturing the beauty as well as the action as the sun sets on one of Australia's top beaches with plenty of photo taking opportunities & practical advice.
This workshop will address many of the issues faced when shooting under bright light light, coping with the changing light as the sun sets as well as having fun with slower shutter speeds.
Just 20 minutes drive from Surfers Paradise, Coolangatta is popular destination for surfers and sun worshipers alike.
What you will learn
- Controlling exposure
- Balancing natural light and flash
- Capturing moving subjects (surfers)
- Creative use of shutter speeds (surfers, waves etc)
- Long exposures after sundown
- Composition hints and tips
What you should bring
- DSLR with fully charged battery
- Memory card
- Standard lens & telephoto lens
- camera manual for reference
- Tripod (if you have one, if not we can supply one upon request)
